What to Expect

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be an intimidating experience. But knowing a little about what to expect can help set one’s mind at ease — and perhaps even lead to a more meaningful and enjoyable encounter. So, here we’ve tried to answer some common questions, but if you have others, please don’t hesitate to contact the church office, or ask a greeter upon your arrival.

What should I wear?

We often refer to ourselves as “casual traditional.” Some people enjoy dressing up for church.  Others prefer jeans and a t-shirt. Either is fine. We just want you to feel comfortable worshiping with us.

Where should I park?

Wherever you can find a spot, you are welcome to use it!

To the east, parking is available along the front of the building and across the street. To the south, you may park in the spaces along the side or in the grass lot across the street. To the west (behind the church), you’ll find a large parking lot. In addition, you are welcome to park at the Country Abbey, provided there is no event.

Where do I go?

If you are joining us for Worship, please enter the sanctuary through the large double doors in front. As you enter, you will be met by our greeters. If you have young children, they will be able to help you locate the nursery, but please know that children are welcome in any of our services. If you have any special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility or listening devices for hearing impairments, a greeter will be happy to assist you.

If you are coming for a Small Group or Special Event, enter through our main office door that is just to the right of the Church Bell.  One of our members will be happy to direct you to your room.

What are your services like?

At our 9 am "NOW", contemporary style service, you can expect a relaxed atmosphere and a more modern style of worship.

During the 11 am service, you will find a more traditional style of worship and an opportunity to sing the Hymns that you have grown to love.

We celebrate Holy Communion once a month (usually the first Sunday of the month). We believe everyone is welcome at the Lord’s table, so please feel free to join us.

Additionally, we celebrate Holy Communion during our Wednesday evening worship.

What’s next?

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for complimentary donuts and coffee offered between services. It’s a great time to get acquainted.

Then stay with us for Sunday School. We have classes for all ages.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our church family. In the meantime, if we can answer any additional questions or be of service, please don’t hesitate to contact the church office.
